Looking ahead Sirius XM Radio
(NASDAQ: SIRI) should have a positive outlook for 2010. Revenue is up and Sirius XM Radio Sees 2010 Free Cash Flow Remaining Positive. Revenue for 2010 should be over $2.7 billion.Sirius XM had a 4th quarter net of $14.2 million. They beat the street by .02 cents per share.
Looking forward I believe the path Sirius XM should take is to pay down debt to make them even more profitable. The focus should be on used car installs as well as new car installs, and lease some channels to minority groups. Any new revenue streams would be a plus to profitability.
It would not hurt to try to dig for some more cost cutting. Other than this Sirius XM is a well oiled machine!
The future may very well include Howard Stern. I think it may be wise to get a deal done with Howard Stern before the end of the year. Sirius XM could possibly offer Howard Stern a percentage of the profits from the advertising on his show! Howard could have the option to help bring in advertisers on his show to increase his profits. A win–win situation for Sirius XM and Howard.
