8 deals on tap this week, plus a China microcap in TBET(which priced and opened at $5.50).
We at tradingipos.com were a bit surprised by the above range pricing in both NLSN and DMD.
NLSN is a worldwide brand name, saddled with massive private equity debt. That it priced $23 and is currently trading $25+ bodes well for both private equity and for ipo demand.
DMD, is quite richly valued here pricing $17 and currently trading $23+. However over the years we've seen nearly every pretty good looking internet ipo do well, including two that looked very pricey on open in WBMD and OPEN. I suspect DMD will be bought out by a larger player within 1-2 years of coming public. The only question is valuation and pricetag of that future buyout. While we think it is expensive here we did initiate a trading position 22 1/2 with stop on break of $22.
