The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (NASDAQ:SPDC) reported that Eroton Exploration & Production Company Limited has completed the $1.1 billion all-cash acquisition of 45% interest in OML 18 and related facilities in the Eastern Niger Delta. Eroton acquired 30% from SPDC, 10% from Total and 5% from Eni.

Southwestern Energy Company sold its natural gas assets in Bradford and Lycoming counties in Pennsylvania to Howard Energy Partners (NYSE:HEP) for $500 million. The gathering systems, serving the Marcellus Shale region, include approximately 100 miles of natural gas gathering pipeline, with nearly 600 MMcf/d of capacity and 53,000 HP of compression.
