Earnings are coming in and they seem to be mixed. We are still concerned with unemployment and the overall economy. General Electric (NYSE:GE) just reported and EPS appears to have beaten First Call Estimates but missed on revenues. I am currently long GE and planning to hold for the longer term. As always I am not making a recommendation but merely sharing my thoughts. Do your homework and study your charts. I am also long Citigroup (NYSE:C) who also announced this morning. Citigroup beat on EPS but missed on revenues according to reports this morning. My question; "Are we our of the woods"? My response, I just don't know. I will continue to watch the market and wait for good entries and take some profits when I can, along the way. I just don't know how long the rough times will continue and if or when the government actions (TARP, Stimulus, Mortgage Assistance, etc.) will kick in and how much they will help.
