Spotlight On Natural Gas (For Once)

|Includes: TAG Oil Ltd. (TAOIF)
Summary

TAG Oil produces oil and natural gas.

TAG maximizes the marketability of the gas they produce from their Cheal and Sidewinder fields, via New Zealand’s open-access gas transmission line.

Shell created a informative graphic showing the uses of natural gas.

As you may know, TAG Oil produces oil and natural gas.

Aside from power generation and home heating, natural gas is used to manufacture many everyday and industrial products.  And TAG maximizes the marketability of the gas we produce from our Cheal and Sidewinder fields, via New Zealand’s open-access gas transmission line.

There are nearly 18,000 km of intermediate, medium, and low-pressure gas distribution pipeline networks connected to New Zealand’s North Island transmission pipeline system. The pipeline system then transports large volumes of natural gas under high pressure from the intermediary pipelines (and production fields like ours), to both distribution networks and to large customers along the pipeline.

Check out the graphic that Shell created, showing natural gas in everyday products.
