Premier Exhibitions In-Depth

|Includes: Premier Exhibitions, Inc. (PRXI)

I know it does not look official yet but the Enlightened American blog is now part of Complete Growth Investor (NYSE:CGI). As part of this union, we are now doing a free weekly podcast called CGI Roundtable. Every week, we hope to bring you a different perspective on the markets, focusing more on long-term fundamentals and value investing as opposed to the frenetic pacing set by CNBC and its ilk.

This week's podcast addresses the common refrain that penny stocks are only for speculators. We take an in-depth look at one of CGI's holdings, Premier Exhibitions (PRXI). Most folks know Premier as the company that runs the Bodies exhibition. A renowned value investor, Mark Sellers, now controls the company, with an eye toward restoring profitability. While the company is struggling somewhat, they are well-positioned with attractive assets and no debt.

Listen to the in-depth podcast on PRXI.

If you missed the previous weeks' podcasts, catch up here.

Finally, CGI offers a free (yes, free!) member service called Blueprint Investor. This service is geared toward beginner investors or those too strapped for time to follow the markets closely. Every month, CGI founder, Tom Jacobs, uses a small chunk of his own real money and buys a stock for the long-term. Check it out here.

Disclosure: CGI runs a portfolio that is long PRXI. Also, Mark Sellers will be the keynote speaker at the CGI Members conference in Las Vegas (more info).
