Baltia Airlines

|Includes: Baltia Air Lines, Inc. (BLTA)

On August 5th,2010 I bought my first shares of Baltia Airlines -BLTA - after doing some research.I do not remember where it came from, but almost from the start it intrigued me.The possibility of a direct flight from Russia to JFK Airport made me believe that this stock had some future promise. As I added to this speculative stock over the years,a great degree of patience was required.Possible FAA meetings sprinkled in with pictures of the plane with Baltia logo on the side kept the dream alive of seeing this airline take flight.More than a few friends commented on the dangers of investing in airlines.I listened to all of the commentary but quietly added to my initial small position.Through all the waiting, the stock has stayed very close to the Break-Even point. This gave hope that the stock might one day cease being a Spec pick and become a viable company.A FAA meeting is scheduled in Michigan today pertaining to the next step in a certification process that has seemed like an eternity.Whatever the outcome will be,I have enjoyed this stock from the day I first bought it.Watching a stock from it's infancy gives one a lasting impression on why trading in the Market is always interesting and educational. To see a plane high up in the summer sky makes one wonder of the future promises that begins as a dream.Good luck today,Baltia Airlines.

Disclosure: I am long OTCPK:BLTA.
