Retirement Secrets: Eating Raw For Longevity!

To the Maverick Bio-Investors,
I hope you're enjoying a strong trading session to finish this week.
In assisting you with boosting your investment returns and your longevity, I'll share more blogs.
On this note, I remember a college friend back at Columbia University, Houman!
He's now a doctor.
Despite his busy schedule, Houman is extremely energetic.
His physique is well defined.
And, Houman is not the type of guy who works out in the gym.
So I asked Houman, "What is your secret to having such great health?"
To my surprised, Houman said: "Raw foods!"
Houman doesn't eat processed foods.
Instead, he eats only organic and raw foods.
On the weekend, he'd go out to the farmer market. Here, he'll get his fruits and vegetables for the whole week.
As you know, what you put inside your body is crucial for longevity.
Your body runs kinda like a car.
Nowadays, processed foods are everywhere.
They're not good for your body due to the high glycemic index (i.e, GI).
The high GI food caused a spike in your blood sugar level making you feel sleepy and tired after a meal.
Most of the essential nutrients are also gone from processed foods.
What you ended up with are excess calories that cause weight gain.
Instead of eating processed foods, feed your body with better fuel.
Give your body raw foods, and your biological engine will deliver you more power.
Higher quality fuel also helps your engine to last longer.
An example of raw food you can prepare is a salad.
Another example is to juice your fruits/vegetables.
If you eat raw celery/veggies, as well as juicing your fruits/veggies, you'll benefit from the low glycemic index and high fiber content.
The fiber acts like a sponge to absorb the toxins from your body. As such, it helps to prevent cancers.
Now you can add meats and fish to your diet too. The key is to introduce a good quantity of raw foods into your diet.
