HickoryTech Corp. (HTCO) Adds Carol Wirsbinsky as COO

Yesterday, HickoryTech Corp. made the announcement that Carol Wirsbinsky had been appointed to the role of chief operating officer and vice president of HickoryTech. This is part of the company’s plans to grow business. Wirsbinsky is a veteran of the communications industry with 20 years of experience. Mrs. Wirsbinsky has held positions of leadership at CitiLink Broadband, Integra Telecom of Minnesota, among other positions.
HickoryTech is a communications provider that serves customers in the upper Midwest. With 460 employees and a multi-state fiber network that encompasses Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota, HickoryTech offers services such as broadband Internet, digital television and voice/data services as well as IP voice and various data services.
Wirsbinsky’s duties will include overseeing day to day management of HickoryTech, which includes sales, customer service, engineering and network operations. She will also build strategy and innovate business opportunities in line with the company’s growth plans.
