ValueVision Media Inc., a premium interactive retailer via TV, Internet and mobile operating under the “ShopNBC” brand, Friday announced it has appointed three members to its leadership team to provide strategic counsel on technology, process engineering, merchandising and customer service initiatives.

Through the appointment of the new members, the company’s goal is to drive incremental sales, improve operation performance and boost efficiency in the network’s television, call center and customer service, Internet and mobile operations.

“To support and expand our talented leadership team, we are adding three impressive industry players on a strategic consulting basis to focus on several key priorities,” Bob Ayd, president of ShopNBC stated in the press release. “Having made great strides in turning around the business and improving the capital structure, opportunities to drive incremental revenue via business continuity, customer retention & service, merchandising processes, IT, and enhanced operations are now in our sights. We have tapped three highly capable executives to help support us in our growth strategies and execution. I have worked with all of them in the past; they are simply terrific. We are pleased to welcome Rob, Nancy and Dennis to the team, and we look forward to their contributions.”

Rob Cochran will be responsible for creating IT processes to improve customer experience and generate enhanced user interface. Cochran has more than 30 years of leadership experience, including a 20-year role at QVC.

With 25 years of logistics and customer operations experience, Nancy Kunkle will provide process-engineering advice aimed at further monetizing customer retention initiatives and streamlining product and content creation. Kunkle also worked at QVC where she was responsible for customer advocacy and call center operations.

Dennis Reustle is a multichannel veteran of 25 years, and will focus on commerce and merchandising initiatives tied to a number of incremental revenue streams. Reustle spent more than 20 years at QVC.
