Commtouch Software Ltd. (CTCH) Appoints Amos Arev and Michael Myshrall to Executive Team
Located in Sunnyvale, California, Commtouch Software is a provider of Internet security technology to more than 150 security companies and service providers for integration into their solutions. Today, Commtouch announced the appointment of two new members to their executive team.
The new members will be Amos Arev and Michael Myshrall. Arev has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Research and Development (R&D), and Myshrall as Vice President of Corporate Development.
Arev has a distinguished reputation in the sector and brings more than 20 years of software development management experience, spending over half of his career specializing in IT security. Prior to joining Commtouch, Mr. Arev was VP R&D of Skybox Security, a provider of automated security risk management solutions. Before Skybox Security, Mr. Arev held several R&D management positions at Check Point Software and Comverse Network Systems. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, both cum laude.
Myshrall also has a wealth of knowledge which includes two decades of investment banking, business development and technology experience. Prior to joining the team at Commtouch, Myshrall held various roles in business development, marketing, and engineering within companies such as Nortel, Newbridge Networks, Corvis, and Civcom. Mr. Myshrall holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Leading the way at Commtouch is Ido Hadari who serves as the company’s CEO. When asked about the addition of Arev and Myshrall, Hadari was quoted as saying, “These two executives bring significant experience and knowledge to the management table, which will help us as we further push to accelerate growth.”
