China Wi-Max Communications, Inc. (CHWM.OB) Enters into Strategic Agreement with CJ Network Consultation and Services Company

China Wi-Max Communications, Inc. has enhanced operations and potential customers in Beijing significantly via a strategic agreement with Beijing’s CJ Network Consultation and Services Company. CJ Network operates as a fiber based access provider in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. They are a licensed ISP, and they provide Internet access mainly to buildings in Beijing’s “Silicon Valley” area following the 3rd Ring Road.

CJ Network will engineer and construct fibers from China Wi-Max Communications, Inc.’s 4th Ring Road fiber backbone for up to nine new business buildings. CJ Network will maintain fiber and in-building access to customers, in addition to providing Tier I Technical Support.

In addition, the agreement provides for China Wi-Max Communications, Inc. to interconnect their 4th Ring Road fiber with CJ Network 3rd Ring Road fiber network operations center, and will provide 700MB of Internet bandwidth. The agreement also provides a framework for additional buildings, use of China Wi-Max Communications wireless assets, a termination center for international VPN, and cooperative sales and revenue sharing.

Formed in 2006, they came into being to take advantage of the rapidly expanding wireless and broadband communications needs in the People’s Republic of China. Their corporate goal is to become the premier provider of broadband technology and allied services in the Chinese market.

In late April, China Wi-Max Communications, Inc. signed a Wholesale Carrier Agreement with Dragon Telecom International, Ltd (DTIL). The agreement gives them access to 2.5 Gbps now. It can be expanded in the future to 10Gbps and 100Gbps via dual, as in protected, fiber connection between Hong Kong and mainland China. This agreement enables China Wi-Max Communications to further expand and grow their business. This is by providing international connections to their fiber and wireless networks in China.
