D18 week was 12 for 12

As we roll this system out in a live forward test, we had many positions for D18 week.  All the buy-writes below were entered between 12-7 and 12-16 and all of them expired or were assigned as winners.  The spreadsheet is at the link below:

Covered calls

The system made 3.3%.  Pretty good for one week.

These are boom times.  I am curious how this performs if/when things go south.  I have a plan, of course.

Last week was 2 for 3.

Last week we only had three positions.  Two were winners and one lost (a mere 0.36%).  The wins were 2.86% and 1.27%.  Total return was 1.3%.

Total returns of 3.6% in two weeks.

For two weeks we are 14 for 15 with a total return on a $60,000 trading principle of $2,158 or 3.6%.

What's next?

Stay tuned for Monday when we will announce the trades for D24 week.  Lower premiums this week, so picking will be slimmer.  It will be a good test of the system.

Happy trading!
