Apple Drops To Market Performer

|About: Apple Inc. (AAPL)
Summary

Portfolio managers need outperformers.

Apple has drooped to market performer.

Is this bearish for next earnings?

Apple (AAPL) was outperforming the Index, but has dropped back to market performer status. It is not hurting portfolio performance yet, but will it? The chart below shows our buy signals. Our most important signal is our fundamental/technical grade shown at the bottom of the chart. Our next important buy signal is the Implied Return calculation tracked at the very bottom of the chart.

Apple is in our paper, Value Model Portfolio. We are watching it for any sign of weakness. You can see our Demand indicator at the bottom of the chart is rising and price is trying to reach the old high. It was slapped down today.
