Yesterday at the Market close, Mosys announced its first quarter results, reporting a total revenue of 3.6 million, an increase of 38% over the first quarter in 2009
Total Cash and investments approximately 34 million and Gross margin was 78% compared to 80% in the fourth quarter of 2009. Net loss for the first quarter of 2010 was $5.7 million or .18 a share.
During the call, the company announced the development of the Bandwidth Engine, and the acquisition of company MagnaLynx who specializes in high-speed, lower power chip to chip communication technology. Although MOSY has taken a little bit of a dip in the past three months, over the past 6 overall, the company’s stock price has been growing.
