US Market Volatility to Continue (NYSE:DIA)

|Includes: SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF (DIA)

Hopefully the jobs report will soften the exodus of investors today.  Friday can be a dangerous day on the back of Thursdays volatility.  US Futures were slightly higher in front of the job report numbers.  All European Markets were 2%-5% lower in overnight sessions as individual Governments stood attentively.  Japan took liquidity action pumping money into the system.  We expect a concerted effort today from the US Fed as they stand ready to remedy any disastrous decline.

US Markets have circuit breakers which were installed after the 1987 Stock Market Crash.  These circuit breakers act as a buffer where trading is halted or delayed if they reach the outer bands of of percentage moves to the downside.  The CME and NYSE act in a combined effort to control wild swings.
