US Markets Still in Sell Mode

U.S. markets continued lower at mid-day with most major indexes falling near 2%.  The reality of polluted coasts, new regualtion regarding stock trading and currency volatility headlines keep buyers away from the front lines.  It is my guess that  professional traders continue to set up short positions in ETF's and are sticking to well researched stock selection.  I see a stock pickers summer ahead versus sitting pat in old standby's.

It's hard to imagine that Google,Apple and CME will solely quench the thirst of long side names in portfolios.  The over riding factor for me is the weakening techincal picture forming...I always find that relying on technical patterns works best with markets trending lower and you will see more technical analysis going forward from World Market Media as we go thru the summer.
