Anyone following the smartphone world has likely seen the side by side comparison of the Nexus 4 and the upcoming iPhone 6 that came out yesterday, here:
The new iPhone 6 is $900 and the Nexus 4 is $175, less than a fifth of the price of the iPhone. Same thing. Heck, the Nexus 4 is even better in a lot of ways.
Apple is seemingly just taking advantage of their customers now, like a retired snake oil salesman who knows he shouldn't keep peddling his old customers, but hey -- money is money.
This could go on for a few more years... but I don't think it could go on forever. An article, here might provide proof demonstrating this changing trend already.
