Someone finally states the obvious

Nouriel Roubini said what Buy and Hold Plus has been thinking for a long time.  If the problem with various institutions is that they are too big to fail, well, don't let them get too big!

Roubini Says Banks Should Not Be Too Big to Fail

Bank takeovers worsened the financial crisis by making firms that were already too big even bigger, said Nouriel Roubini, the New York University professor who predicted the financial crisis.

“The institutions are insolvent,” Roubini said in a Bloomberg Radio interview. “You have to take them over and you have to split them up into three or four national banks, rather than having a humongous monster that is too big to fail.”

Funny how long it took for someone to state the obvious.  Buy and Hold Plus believes that there are two possible solutions for insitutions of any sort that are too big to fail.  These institutions need to be broken up in to smaller ones that are not too big to fail or they need to be subject to special and more strict regulation.
