Goldplay Exploration (OTCQB:GLYXF) is exploring a 6 kilometer long concession 81 km* southeast of Mazatlán in the Sinaloa state in Mexico.
The company already has a 43-101 compliant high-grade silver resource (47 Moz Ag Eq), with potential to be an open-pit project.
On July 30, 2019 Goldplay announced the results of its first drill hole of the 2019 season. Those results included a meter of 206.4 gpt of gold. Interestingly, in an article published at motherlodetv.net, Goldplay CEO Marcio Fonseca indicates that this is not a typical "vein" type deposit.
“What we found in this hole,” said Fonseca in a phone interview, “Is one meter of high-grade gold. That meter was part of a much wider interval. It is not a vein, it is part of a disseminated and massive sulfide hosted in volcanic rocks.”
