More European Problems Arise, Expect A Very Volatile Session

Nearly every single trading day we see the major stock indexes gapping sharply higher or lower. This morning, the stock market indexes are gapping lower ahead of the opening bell. The S&P 500 Index e-mini futures (ES Z1) are trading lower by 11.50 to 1242.50 per contract. When stock markets gap up or down on a daily basis it is a sign of a very unstable market. Each and everyday the markets are reacting to more and more news out of Europe and Asia. Today, the news out of Europe is very poor as the unemployment rate in the United Kingdom increased to a 15 year high. Trader must remember that the UK is not part of the European Union. The UK has their own central bank and can print money. Many investors are now expecting the European Union to start to monetize their debt.
