THIS - Kind of defies Rule of Law, doesn't it? (Or, is it simply that there's no real recognition at law of all such Inferior [State "controlled"] Jurisdiction/s?)
I'm wondering. Has "the church" (all churches, as such) been hiding behind (and that they continue to hide behind), the apron of old, "mother of Law"?
Has [Pope] Francis seen through the hypocracy of all, of this?
Do judges of the 'Rota' have "driver Licences" and "rego" for their car? Is this the very reason why churches don't pay Taxes, Rates, etc?
Do (must?) Priests etc, even hold a driver Licence? I dunno...
"It is also the custom that judges are appointed from among those who have been distinguished advocates at the Bar of the Court, and have thereat given abundant proof of legal ability.
A judge of the Rota occupies one of the highest judicial offices in the Church: he is endowed with the ecclesi-astical status and dignity of the prelacy, and with a number of important personal privileges, such as exemption from the jurisdiction of the local Hierarchy."
What's that? An "exemption from the jurisdiction of the local Hierarchy."
Kind of defies the Rule of Law, doesn't it? ^^^^
(Or, is it simply that there's no recognition at law, of all such Inferior [State "controlled"] Jurisdiction/s?)
This shouldn't be too hard to work out, surely?
