The "Chart of the Day" is Church & Dwight (CHD), which showed up on Friday's list of stocks that had a new "Buy" signal from the Barchart "TrendSpotter" trading system and also on Barchart's "NYSE All Time High" list. CHD on Friday rallied by 0.84% to post a new all-time high. In recent news on the stock, Oppenheimer on March 23 reiterated its Outperform rating on CHD and raised its target to $88 from $75 due to improved growth in developed markets and strengthening U.S. laundry prices. Church & Dwight on Feb 8 reported fiscal Q4 EPS of 86 cents, below the analyst consensus of 89 cents, but declared a 100% dividend increase to 34 cents. Church & Dwight, with a market cap of $5.7 billion, is the world's leading producer of sodium bicarbonate, (baking soda), a versatile chemical which performs a broad range of functions such as cleaning, deodorizing, leavening and buffering. They sell their products, primarily under the ARM & HAMMER(R) trademark, to consumers through supermarkets, drug stores and mass merchandisers; and to industrial customers/distributors.
