The Barchart Chart of the Day belongs to the Chinese REIT and technology parks manager

Nam Tai Property (NTP).  The company was formerly known as Nam Tai Electronics, Inc. and changed its name to Nam Tai Property Inc. in April 2014. Nam Tai Property Inc. was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Shenzhen, the People's Republic of China.

I found the stock by using Barchart's powerful screening tools to find the stocks with the highest Weighted Alpha and technical buy signals. After I sorted for the most frequent number of new highs in the last month, I used the Flipchart feature to review the charts for consistent prices appreciation. Since the Trend Spotter signaled a buy on 5/3 the stock gained 69.38%.

Nam Tai Property, Inc. is engaged in property development and management activities in the People's Republic of China. Currently, it has two properties planned for development, including: the land of its existing Shenzhen manufacturing facilities in Gushu that is approximately 0.6 million square feet; and the raw land that is roughly 1.1 million square feet in the Guangming Hi-Tech Industrial Park. Nam Tai plans to develop these two parcels of properties into high-end commercial complexes. Upon the completion, it will become the landlord and manager of the commercial complexes and, subsequently, believes its principal income will be derived from the rental income from complexes. At this juncture, it continues to seek potential joint venture partners for the development of the land parcels in Shenzhen. The Wuxi plant continues to be listed for sale. As of January 31, 2020, its top four largest shareholders beneficially owned approximately 54.9% of its common shares, collectively. Has 105 employees. Chairman & C.E.O.: Ying Chi Kwok Address: Nam Tai Estate, No. 2, Namtai Gushu Community.
