Leading a business in this time and day may not seem to be a very good move, especially with the economy being down and such. But whoever said that running a business would be a smooth sailing. Many would attest that to be successful in doing so would require you to be both talented and gutsy. One who is not afraid to take risks-but me mindful, I do mean calculated risks.

It is known that not all people have both these characteristics and although it's everyone's dream to be successful, not all are made to be one. However, there are several people who did manage to succeed in spite of the odds. Amongst the modern business men and leaders who want to be a success in their line of work and make their dreams come true, these people serve as a role model and inspiration. One of these successful people, and one of my personal inspirations, is Andreas Roell.

Andreas Roell co-founded the Geary Interactive in 2000, and since then, its expansion became worldwide. Currently, Roell is the chairman and CEO of Geary Group of Companies which consists of the following: MatrixMT, a premium SEO services company, and Geary PMG, an elite lead generation firm, and none other than Geary Interactive, a digital marketing company. Under the guidance of Roell, Geary Interactive has been named as the Number One Advertising Agency in San Diego by the San Diego Business Journal. Recently featured in the Wall Street Journal for its innovative client engagement structures, Geary Interactive has locations in San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago and Los Angeles.

His rise to the top has never been an easy one at that, not to mention, quite long. Roell has had plenty of experiences and was put through to endure a number a lot of responsibilities before finally becoming the president and CEO of Geary Interactive. He was actually the former governor of the AAF's South Western Region and a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau's (IAB) online lead generation board.

Although his name is often associated with the Geary Group, Andreas Roell has actually made quite a name for himself. But first off, I think it is also important for me to mention that he graduated as cum laude for his Master's in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. With talent and dedication-and a lot of guts, Andreas Roell has been recognized for his entrepreneurial vision and knowledge of marketing and interactive media. He received countless acknowledgements and awards for his many great contributions in the field. In fact, he was also a common editorial contributor to industry columns in leading publications and a highly demanded guest speaker at multiple business schools, universities and conferences.

Being an expert in the industry who contributed a lot to the growth of the advertising community, San Diego Metropolitan Magazine named Roell as one of San Diego's Top 40 Entrepreneurs under 40. In addition, Roell was recently been made a member of the board of directors of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), and is actually the youngest member to receive the AAF Silver Medal.
