In today's world people are doing stock trading all the time in various markets. A stock market is that place where a company can buy and sell their shares and stocks. There are many stock exchanges. It is a form of exchange that provides services for stock brokers and traders to trade stocks, bonds and other securities. The stock exchanges often provide many facilities to investors to issue and redemption of securities and other financial instrument. To be able to trade a security on a certain stock exchange, it must be listed there. Only members have the rights to trade on an exchange. Here is some famous stock exchanges.

New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)

New York Stock Exchange is the most leading stock exchange in the world which is trading almost 1.46 billion shares every day. The companies that are listed on New York Stock Exchange have to fulfill some strict requirement to maintain its reputation and high-quality securities.

In 1972 the New York Stock Exchange had twenty-four New York City stockbrokers who were signed of the Buttonwood Agreement and it were begun with five securities traded. It is located on famous Wall Street in lower Manhattan, New York City. The stocks on NYSE can be now traded electronically, electronic transactions representing most of the trades performed.
