The company is also engaged in oil refining through a stake held in Refinaria de Petroleo Riograndense SA. In August 2012, Terminal Quimico de Aratu S.A. - Tequimar, which is controlled by the Company, acquired 100% interest in Temmar - Terminal Maritimo Do Maranhao S.A.
