Thanks Again Senator Dodd: Good-Bye To Consumer Protection Agency

"Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd is considering scrapping the idea of creating a Consumer Financial Protection Agency... Mr. Dodd's offer is conditional, however: Republicans must agree to create a beefed-up consumer-protection division within another federal agency"

Remember Senator Dodd was the one who introduced the Depositor Protection Act of 2009 that essentially gave $500 billion to the currently insolvent FDIC?

Banks are about to hand out $145 billion to their employees this year.

Look up TLGP and you will see where that $145 billion is coming from.

So much for protecting depositors, huh?
