Summer Collegiate Stock Pitch Contest - 2017

I would like to bring your attention to a  fantastic opportunity to take your involvement with Seeking Alpha one step further. This summer, the Seeking Alpha Campus Outreach Team is sponsoring a Summer Stock Pitch Contest open to all our existing and potential collegiate contributors. The theme for the competition is Top Stock Idea for Summer 2017 and entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM EST on July 31, 2017.

All entries will receive standard exclusive article compensation and can earn anywhere up to $500. In addition to this, our editors will evaluate and select three winners, who will be able to choose from between two prizes:

1. Limited access to Seeking Alpha PRO content. (To know more about PRO, please view the “Seeking Alpha PRO” section here.)

2. Limited access to a marketplace service, in combination with an internship. We will share further details with winners later on. (To read more about these services, please go here.)

To increase your probability of successfully publishing your idea, try not to cover mega-cap, big-name stocks like Apple, Google etc. We have multiple submissions on those stocks daily, and finding a unique thesis to present is usually quite challenging, as opposed to covering a smaller cap stock.

In case you are looking for guidance before submitting the article you can utilize our new valuable tool - the Mentorship Program. For more details please check here. To learn more about our editorial guidelines, please see here. Please check instablogs to know about the submission process, editorial review process, compensation process.

*Note: Kindly note that you must check the box "Enter Competition", which appears at the very end of the submission process, below the article preview. Once you check the box, a drop down list will open to let you select the "Summer 2017 Top Stock Idea - Collegiate Competition" tag.
