Some People at AIG Think It's Business as Usual

One of those people is its so-called CEO, Robert Ben Mosche. He wanted private use of the company plane until the board vetoed it.

What can you say of a man who spent a month vacationing in Croatia before "starting work," even though the company he's supposed to be leading is on fire. Would any fire department worthy of the name do this?

This is a financial crisis of epic proportions that require heroic measures, for AIG, and for the world. "Business as usual" should be the last thing from people's minds.

People who act if it were business as usual will soon find that they don't have a business.
