Added to REIT portfolio:
Cousins was chosen for future growth of the dividend. It's a speculative play. Its payment history appears to jump all over the map, as seen here: www.nasdaq.com/symbol/cuz/dividend-history
A yield of just under 2.5%.
So my position is a "1/3 of full" stake. More research here: www.dividendinvestor.com/?chk=7df4b14166...
Do I believe the 10 year yield target? No. Still, its a little taste of something spicier. So a position of 2.8% of the portfolio is ok to me, and I'll see what happens.
Carey was added. With a solid history of dividend growth, (www.nasdaq.com/symbol/wpc/dividend-history) this counters CUZ. A "2/3 of full" position leaves room to add to it later if the time appears right.
Dividends paid since 1998. www.dividendinvestor.com/?chk=7df4b14166...
A yield of about 5.5%.
Now the REIT portfolio consists of:
There are also 1/3 positions in PCI, PHK, and PFN, all purchased in the dip after Gross's departure. And a 1/2 Position in PSEC as a speculation.
For the record, I plan to bail on ARCP at some point and would like to add either NNN or HCP.
None of these are recommendations, just recording what the account holds. This is a fully invested account now.
