CGTS WEEKEND EDITION 11 SEPTEMBER 2009: RALLY ROARS AHEAD

CGTS WEEKEND EDITION
11 SEPTEMBER 2009

The rally rolls on.  And there is no indication that it is losing steam technically.  The HGX (Housing Index) is one of the few indexes that looks a bit unsteady.  The Nikkei (Japan Index) is undertain of where it wants to go.  The SOXX (Semiconductor Index) and the XOI (Oil and Gas Stocks) both rallied back strongly against a few weeks of relative weakness.  Asian stocks are strong, except for Shanghai (SSEX) which still is negative.  DBO, Oil, is also still negative, although it has a better week this week.

Gold stocks are still doing very well, appearing again this week in our momentum leaders for the week.

Priceline continues to be the most positive stock we follow, with Teva Labs right behind.  Haliburton had a good week and looks strong at the moment.

Weakest issues are the ETFs that short the stock markets, ERTS, FSLR.  Weakest momentum gainers for the week were the US Dollar, McDonalds and Sturm Ruger.
