End of Day, Cause and Effect …

 

Stocks advanced for the 3rd straight session Tuesday, 9/27/11… not bad.   At its peak, the Dow had risen more than 300 points.

 Since Greek debt has dominated the headlines and the markets ebb and flow; I don’t believe anything … until the check clears or Greece … just falls … as it should!

A split has opened in the euro zone over the terms of Greece’s 2nd €109B bailout … The divisions have emerged amid mounting concerns that Athens’ funding needs are much bigger than estimated just 2 months ago. When will it cease …?? The US economy is on a “knife’s edge” between growth and contraction and if it were a dashboard, it would be flashing … watch out … danger ahead on all gauges …

Closing Bell: The NASDAQ closed UP <again> +30.14 (+1.20%) to 2,546.83. The Dow closed UP +146.83 (+1.33%) to 11,190.69.
