In spite of the incipient rally in stocks over the past few weeks, many investors don’t think it will last, judging by new data on short-selling. Short interest is also a sentiment indicator and that sentiment can sometimes become so bearish that it becomes a good sign for bulls.  There are other signs of gloom now:

 
Closing Bell: The NASDAQ closed UP +47.61 (+1.82%) to 2,667.85. The Dow closed UP +166.36 (+1.45%) to 11,644.49.
