Stock futures fell Wednesday as investors weighed improving economic data versus ongoing worries about EU debt problems. Futures on the Dow reversed early gains to fall. S&P 500 Index futures declined, while NASDAQ 100 futures lost.
EU stocks turned lower on Wednesday after the Bank of England said the growth outlook for the global economy has worsened since August. Asian stock markets took a 2nd straight day of losses on worries over (guess what?) EU fiscal health, with low volumes leading to choppy action.
