Worlds Relies On VirnetX Case WIFI ONE To Regain Claims

|Includes: ATVI, AVGO, VHC, Worlds, Inc. (WDDD)

Today the PACER system Federal Record Online Database updated the release of the long awaited Worlds v. Bungie Patent Trial and Appeal Board Appellate Filing. Worlds (OTCQB:WDDD) has been carefully crafting this appeal pending as much of the subect matter concerning other cases before the COA and JOINDER of a Time Barred Plaintiff. Activision Blizzard(NASDAQ:ATVI) had allowed itself to become time barred over petitioning the validity of certain patents Worlds holds over on Activision Blizzards MMORPG Games; notably the highly successful CALL OF DUTY Franchise among others.

Activisions development partner Bungie was allowed to file an IPR in contravention to the USC rules overridden by the PTAB Directors special authority. Its this authority that is under reveiw by the US Court of Appeals having accepted an EN BANC full Court review and having already heard evidence. VirnetX (NYSEMKT:VHC) is also using the exact same case Wifi-One v. Broadcom.

Worlds has already survived the PTAB process with 8 claims validated. However Worlds seeks to enhance that number to further open up new avenues of opportunity to monteize their MMORPG (Multi Media Online Role Playing Games) intellectual property.

Disclosure: I am/we are long WDDD, VHC.
