Egypt is "what the emerging economies" actually are.  They're starving to death before out eyes.  We are starving them "in the name of finance."  Starving people don't have economies.  I've been saying "keep your money home" since day one.  This is not because "the good guys win."  It's because "Evil America" is not to be shorted "when properly phrased under the rubric of liberal democracy and legal rights."  You and I and "all of them" have no legal rights.  We are fortunate we have citizenship (tho they'd love to take that away too) but in the end we have the most narcissistic government policy in the history of the planet.  To say it is "destructive" is like saying "Nero was good time Charlie."  Absolutely disgusting.  We shall see how long Israel "holds out" from "the starving mass of humanity" that by dint of public policy as demanded by the President of the United States of America no less is executed upon.  Needless to say "all the nuclear weapons on the planet" are in fact of no use.  Indeed "the fear mongering paranoia" just says to the hungry "here's where the food is."  And I say "if that's where the food is go there."  I wish I could but "I can't feed on the powerless when my cup's already overflowin'."

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours.

Additional disclosure: The Obama Presidency may be our most ironic indeed.
