- Facebook has done it again, creating an "unbundled" app called "Moments" that lets users privately share photos and videos. This app has actually been out since 2015 but it's really starting to gain traction now.
- I've been using this app personally and it's pretty amazing. Basically it gives you a private "photo/video" sharing platform for you to interact with your family and friends around those "moments" you share in the images.
- This is especially big for advertisers and revenue-hungry shareholders as Zuckerberg and Co once again create another platform to expand advertising reach, increase engagement, and build long term user loyalty.
- I expect this to only increase the advertising revenue and profits for Facebook -- good news for shareholders.
