The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) to Acquire Marvel Entertainment and its portfolio of over 5,000 characters for approximately $4 billion. 

Under the terms of the agreement and based on the closing price of Disney on August 28, 2009, Marvel shareholders would receive a total of $30 per share in cash plus approximately 0.745 Disney shares for each Marvel share they own. the transaction value is $50 per Marvel share or approximately $4 billion.

Baker Hughes Incorporated supplies wellbore related products and technology services, and systems for drilling, formation evaluation, completion and production, and reservoir technology and consulting to the oil and natural gas industry worldwide.
BJ Services Company provides pressure pumping and oilfield services for the petroleum industry in the United States and internationally.
Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (Nasdaq: HBAN) announced that the board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.01 per common share. The dividend is payable October 1, 2009, to shareholders of record on September 11, 2009.
