Range Resources In Halt Pending Clarification

Range Resources (ASX: RRS) has gone into an ASX trading halt while it prepares to release a clarification announcement.

The halt will last until the earlier of an announcement being made to the market, or the opening of trade on Wednesday 17th April 2013.

Range had last month reached an agreement to sell its Texan oil and gas interests for US$30 million and had extended its Morne Diablo and South Quarry licences in Trinidad by 10 years.

The licence extension had included a reduction in enhanced royalty currently being paid by the company.
