MZI Resources' CEO Trevor Matthews To Discuss Keysbrook Project In Sydney

MZI Resources (ASX: MZI) has a company making asset in the Keysbrook Mineral Sands Project in Western Australia, where production is scheduled to commence in early 2014.

This comes after the company secured the final landowner agreements this month, giving it the right to access and mine minerals on the properties involved.

Trevor Matthews, the chief executive officer of MZI Resources, will present to investors at the "Stars in 2013 Series" Forum on Wednesday 8th May 2013.


The completion of these agreements moves MZI closer to finalising its financing arrangements for Keysbrook, including the debt facilities currently being negotiated with two leading banks.

It also puts MZI on track to start construction of Keysbrook in the current quarter.

MZI had recently gained a key approval to negotiate a port services agreement with the Bunbury Port Authority and is confident of completing this in the near future.

MZI plans to export all Keysbrook's average annual production of approximately 91,000 tonnes of leucoxene and zircon concentrate products through the port to key Chinese and world markets.

Keysbrook has Resources of 78.9 million tonnes at 2.5% total heavy minerals.
