Sun Resources (ASX:SUR) is planning flow back from seven of its 23 frac stages at the Seale-1H well at the Amerril oil project in Texas, allowing for an early assessment of oil flow potential of the first seven fracs.
An early flow back was planned to reduce the well pressure after the drill bit used to drill out the bridge plugs set between each frac stage broke off while drilling plug number seven.
Oil flow potential of the seven fracs in the horizontal well between 7,898 feet and 9,104 feet will be assessed, which would indicate the potential of the Lower Woodbine well.
After the initial flow back period, Sealer-1H well will be shut-in to facilitate a multi-stage fraccing of the T.Keeling-1H horizontal Lower Woodbine well, which has also been drilled from the same drilling pad.
The two wells will then be flowed back at the same time when the fraccing on T.Keeling is completed.
Sun has a working interest of 50% in both the wells for net revenue interest of 37.5% in each.
