The Mount Oscar Magnetite drilling on anomalies 3,4, and 5 has seen magnetite bearing Banded Iron Formation encountered in 11 out of 14 holes drilled in this programme to date.
A total of 14 of the 15 RC holes have been completed to depths between 350 and 630 metres at Anomalies 3, 4 and 5, and 6,500 metres of drilling has been completed.
The project hosts five airborne magnetic anomalies and an inferred resource of 72 million tonnes of banded iron formation (NYSE:BIF) magnetite iron mineralisation.
The current resources are hosted in Anomaly 1 (43.4 million tonnes at 33.3% iron) and Anomaly 2 (29 million tonnes at 35.1% iron).
