Stratum Metals Identifies 229 New Conductors At East Menzies

Stratum Metals (ASX:SXT) has defined a total of 229 anomalies at its East Menzies Goldfields prospect in Western Australia, with 20 conductors classified as priority targets.

Core Geophysics has provided a final report on the HeliTEM survey flown in March 2013 that defined the 20 priority conductors as ranging from 370 metres to 1,530 metres in length.

These will be used as vectors for gold and/or base metal mineralisation across the project. 105 of the anomalies also gave a magnetic response, which can be indicative of nickel, copper and zinc sulphides.

Structural interpretation and modelling of the new dataset is underway to prepare for drilling in the most prospective locations.

With a market valuation of $6.5 million, Stratum's share price is well leveraged to any exploratory success.
