Shaw River Manganese (ASX: SRR) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX pending the release of an announcement about the outcome of a legal action in Namibia.
The company expects to make an announcement on or before the commencement of trading on Tuesdday 20th September, 2011.
The company aims to go into production at its Otjozondu Manganese Project in Namibia in 2012.
Also, on August 29 Shaw River returned two intersections with grades of up to 46% manganese at its Baramine Project that indicate strong potential for a low capital, beneficiation operation.
The intersections are the highest achieved at the project to date and Shaw expects to release an initial Resource at Baramine in Western Australia’s Pilbara region in the fourth quarter 2011.
