PanTerra Gold Appoints Zach Casley Chief Executive Officer

PanTerra Gold (ASX: PGI) has appointed Zach Casley as chief executive officer, which is the first step in the company's plan to strengthen its senior management.

The added experience will help PanTerra to evaluate expansion opportunities that have already been identified, implement an exploration program in the Dominican Republic and to continue to improve project performance at the company's Las Lagunas gold/silver plant.

The exploration program is fully funded for the next two years by proceeds from the recent transaction with Central American Mezzanine Infrastructure Fund LP.

Casley is a graduate of the University of Queensland, with a BSc (Hons) in Geology, and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.

Immediately prior to joining PanTerra, Casley held the role of Associate Director with Macquarie Bank, involved in mining finance and investment.

Brian Johnson will continue as executive chairman of PanTerra and will in future concentrate on business development and growth opportunities.
