King River Copper Reports Highest Silver Assay At Speewah Dome, Grading 804g/T At Catto

King River Copper (ASX:KRC) has rung in the highest silver assay to date at Speewah Dome in Western Australia, collecting a rock chip that assayed 804 grams per tonne silver at Catto prospect.

Seemingly, every set of assay results returned at Speewah Dome in the current program is finding new mineralisation.

Its 804g/t silver assay also returned 2.2% copper.

About 100 metres to the south, a float sample of quartz with malachite (3000426) also reported very high silver of 716g/t with 1.21g/t gold, 1.69% copper and very high lead grade of 10.3%.

This southern site is close to a previously reported float sample that contained 8g/t gold, 238g/t silver, 0.18% copper and 2.43% lead.

Of note, the rock chip samples have yet to be assayed for gold by Fire Assay which may deliver higher gold values.

King River is drilling at Catto on 4 lines to test an arsenic soil anomaly, a previously reported float sample with 8g/t gold, a geophysical VTEM anomaly, and newly found mineralised vein outcrops and float within the area.

This announcement reports the results from assaying these new surface rock chip samples collected in October.

The rock chip sample assays reported in the announcement were collected from two areas at Catto.

Samples 3000413 and 3000416 were from a small outcrop of vein quartz with iron oxides and malachite stains, which reported significant Gold to 2.75g/t gold, with 1.24% copper and 74g/t silver.

This occurrence is about 100 metres east of a VTEM anomaly.

Sample 3000421 comprised vein quartz with malachite and azurite and yellow-green oxides. It assayed 804g/t gold and 2.2% copper. Sample 3000422 is a nearby outcrop of weathered, altered and fractured gabbro with malachite and azurite, which also contained significant Silver and some Copper. These two samples did not carry any gold.

Drilling is also continuing at Todhunter.

Drilling has concluded at Chapman Flats where more intersections of multiple quartz veins with sulphides have been intersected in infill holes. Drill samples are being progressively delivered to the analytical laboratory in Perth.

Drill assay results are pending and will be reported as Fire Assays for Gold and Total Digest for all other elements.

The current drill program is drawing to an end and the drill rigs will leave the site by the weekend before the onset of the Kimberley wet season.
