Horseshoe Metals in trading halt pending drill results from Kumarina Copper Project

Horseshoe Metals (ASX: HOR) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX pending the release of an announcement about drilling results from its Kumarina copper project.

The company expects to make an announcement on or before the commencement of trading on Thursday 8 December, 2011.

With copper intersected in the first drilling program at Kumarina in November, Horseshoe had an encouraging start at the project which is located adjacent to its Horseshoe Light Project - and 95 kilometres from Sandfire's Resources’ (ASX: SFR) massive DeGrussa discovery.

Copper mineralisation was observed at the Rinaldi Prospect in 12 holes along a north-south orientated fault zone for a distance of about 300 metres.
