Blackthorn Resources Acting Chief Executive Officer Buys Shares On Market

Blackthorn Resources' (ASX: BTR) acting chief executive officer and non-executive director Michael Oppenheimer has acquired 200,000 shares in the company in on market trade.

He paid $0.2388 for each share, or a total consideration of $47,760. This increases his total shareholding up to 816,089 shares.

Blackthorn had on Monday increased Resources at the Kitumba deposit at its wholly-owned Mumbwa Project in Zambia by 25% to 34.7 million tonnes grading 2.29% copper at a 1% cut-off.

Importantly, this now includes a Measured Resource of 10.4Mt at 2.93%, or 306,000 tonnes of contained copper.

Optimisation of metallurgy, process plant design and mine plan is underway using this updated Resource estimate.
