Paynes Find Gold Appoints New Technical Director

Paynes Find Gold (ASX: PNE) has appointed David Holden as its non-executive technical director with immediate effect.

He has over 25 years experience in the minerals industry from the coal mines in New Zealand to deep underground gold mines in South Africa and has held a number of senior management roles.

These include supervising geologist, chief geologist and technical director for a number of public companies including Prosperity Resources (ASX:PSP), Quadrant Australia, Avonlea Minerals (ASX: AVZ) and IGC Resources (CVE: IGC).

Holden was involved in the multi million ounce discoveries of gold at Mt Todd in the Northern Territory and the Nimary Mine in Western Australia.

He founded geological consulting service company Ravensgate, which specialises in expert's reports, resource estimations, valuations and exploration management, in 1997 and started Shackleton Capital in 2005.

Holden is currently the managing director of Firestrike Resources (ASX: FIE).

Separately, Carl Popal has stepped down as a director of the company.
